Sports massage
Sports massage combines kneading, targeted pressure and soft tissue stretching, focusing on muscles placed under particular strain during training. It may ease tension and delayed-onset muscle soreness after exertion, and improve flexibility.
The therapist chooses areas to work on according to the sport and type of load — for example, the calves and thighs for runners, or the shoulder girdle for activities involving the arms. Techniques and intensity are adapted to whether you attend before activity, after training or during recovery. The treatment is also suitable for active recreational athletes.
